THE DIRECTORS/ MARKETING MANAGERS

NIGERIA’S TELECOMMUNICATION NETWORK PROVIDERS

NIGERIA

7-08-2013

SIR/MA,

FRUSTRATING   SITUATION ON HANDS

THIS LETTER WAS ORIGINALLY  WAS FIRST WRITTEN IN NOVEMBER 2003, BY ‘MR. M.O GAFARI’ TO THE DIRECTOR/MARKETING MANAGER OF M.T.N NIGERIA LTD, VICTORIA ISLAND.

DISAPPOINTINGLY,TEN YEARS AFTER THIS LETTER WAS WRITTEN,THE SITUATION REMAINS INTRACTABLE,EVEN WORST THAN THE PREVIOUS AND IT  HAS CONTINUE TO ESCALATE IN APPALLING  MANNER,THE SITUATION HAS BECOME MORE FRUSTRATING THAN EVER BEFORE,AND IT HAS A PSYCHOLOGICAL EFFECT ON YOUR VARIOUS CONSUMERS.

THE FOLLOWING VOCABULARY AS CONTINUE TO RAVAGE THE QUALITY OF YOUR SERVICE, AS IT HAS BEEN ELEVATED TO A PRIME POSITION OF ‘CULTURE’ OF THE NIGERIA’S NETWORK PROVIDERS AS MENTIONED ABOVE.THIS MAY INCLUDE,

  1. CALL ENDED:  WHEN ONE HASN’T SAID ANYTHING.
  1. NOT REACHABLE:  EVEN WHEN THE MOBILE IS ON AND WITHIN REACH.
  1. NOT AVAILABLE:  WHEN YOU NEED TO MAKE CALLS URGENTLY
  1. NETWORK BUSY:  WHEN ONE HAVEN’T SEND IT ON AN ERRAND.
  1. NETWORK OVERLOAD: (GLO) WHEN THE NETWORK IS NOT “ALABARU” LOAD CARRIER.
  1. ALL OUR REPRESENTATIVE ARE CURRENTLY BUSY: (M.T.N.) WHEN YOU NEED THEM TO BE AVAILABLE.
  1. DISCONNECTED: (ETISALAT) WHEN ONE NEED TO BE CONNECTED.

THESE WORD ARE SO FRUSTRATING AND AS COST A LOT MORE THAN WHAT WE ARE SEEING, THE CASE OF THE “ALUU 4” WAS SUCCESSFUL BECAUSE OF THE FAILURE TO PROVIDE BETTER SERVICES.

THESE WORD DO NOT CONSIDER THE EXPIRY DATE OF RECHARGE CARDS, OR MOBILE PLAN.

PLS SIR/MA TRY TO SEE THAT PEOPLE PAY FOR WHAT THEY CONSUME AND PROVIDE THEM WITH A BETTER SERVICE.
